☆ What is K14GF (14k gold-filled)?
It is a gold-filled process where at least 1/20 of the total weight of the metal is 14k gold. Regular gold plating has a thin layer of gold coated on brass or other metals.
K14GF has a 14k gold plate pressed onto it that is about 100 times thicker than gold plating, so there is almost no concern about discoloration or peeling even after long-term use. Also, because the gold is thick and resistant to peeling, it is considered a material that is less likely to cause metal allergies due to nickel. (Allergies vary by individual. It does not mean that allergic reactions will not occur in everyone.)
