☆What is k14gf (14k Gold Filled)?
Gold-filled is a process where at least 1/20 of the total weight of the metal is 14k gold, whereas regular gold plating thinly coats brass or other metals with gold.
Because k14gf involves pressure-bonding a 14k gold plate that is about 100 times thicker than gold plating, there is almost no concern about discoloration or peeling even with long-term use. Furthermore, since the gold is thick and resistant to peeling, it is considered a material that is less likely to cause metal allergies, as allergic reactions to nickel are less common.
