☆What is k14gf (14k gold filled)?
Gold-filled is a process where at least 1/20 of the total weight of the metal is 14k gold. Regular gold plating involves a thin coating of gold over brass or other metals.
K14gf involves bonding a 14k gold plate that is about 100 times thicker than gold plating, so there is very little concern about discoloration or peeling even after prolonged use. Also, because the gold is thick and less likely to peel, it is considered a material that is less likely to cause metal allergies due to nickel. (Allergies vary from person to person. It does not mean that no one will experience an allergic reaction.)
